The November 2023 Event
After our initial meeting in November 2023, a group of volunteers worked to help Flagstaff earn a Dementia Friendly Community status in 2024.

The Northern Arizona Alzheimer’s Disease Association (NAZADA) is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias through advocacy, education, and services.

Dementia Friendly America (DFA) is a national initiative aimed at creating supportive communities for individuals living with dementia and their families. DFA works with local communities to foster environments that enhance quality of life and improve accessibility to resources.
